We believe that the Bible is the infallible written word of God. Man was originally created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God; and was therefore alienated from God. The fall of early man brought all mankind under divine condemnation. Without Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior, we are doomed in this life as well as the next.
We believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and came to this world to die for our sins. He gave us through his grace the gift of faith so that we may be saved. Once saved, we are told to be a disciple (follower of Christ) which requires that we know and obey God's word. We believe that this is extremely important especially in the area of marriage.
We believe God created marriage and the LORD God said, "It is not good for man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable for him." Genesis 2:18.
We believe that "Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
We believe that God is not a liar and that He will give us the desires of our heart when we commit our way to the LORD; and trust in him (Psalm 37:4-5).
We believe that we can have confidence in approaching God and that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him. I John 5:14-15.
We believe that God's word is flawless and the BEST way to BE the right person. When you follow God's word, then you will be best prepared to meet the person the Lord has for you. The Bible says, "Every word of God is flawless, he is a shield to those who take refuge in him." Proverbs 30:5. |
